The Infusion Center provides family-centered care to children requiring short or long-term infusion therapy, therapeutic injections or provocative stimulation testing in an outpatient setting. Our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department offers assessment and treatment services in physical and occupational therapy for patients of all ages, from newborns to adults. Occupational therapy (OT) focuses on addressing developmental delays related to fine motor skills, upper extremity dysfunction, visual perceptual difficulties, oral motor skills, and daily living activities. Physical therapy (PT) specializes in managing developmental delays linked to gross motor skills, particularly in cases of marked prematurity or delays.

Texas Children’s Hospital North Austin Campus is part of one of the world's largest Renal Services programs, offering comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and long-term care for infants, children, and adolescents dealing with hypertension (high blood pressure) and both congenital and acquired kidney diseases. These conditions include:

  • Acute and chronic kidney disease
  • Autoimmune conditions that can affect the kidney, such as lupus and renal vasculitis
  • Congenital abnormalities of the kidneys
  • Glomerulonephritis
  • Hypertension (high blood pressure)
  • Kidney stone disease
  • Nephrotic syndrome

Our Kidney Center is the only hospital-based pediatric dialysis unit in Central Texas and offers 24/7 coverage for inpatient care. We treat pediatric and adolescent patients with chronic and acute kidney disease currently requiring dialysis or who may need dialysis in the future.
