Yes, Texas Children’s requires a resume to submit an application.
No, a cover letter is not required for most jobs. If you’d like to add one to showcase your skills and other context, feel free to do so. Note, some roles require additional documentation to be uploaded at the time of application for you to be fully considered. Please make sure you thoroughly read through the job description before you apply.
You’ll receive detailed information about the position during the interview process. We encourage you to apply, and our recruiters will discuss all relevant details with you. We look forward to reviewing your application!
Some positions require pre-employment assessments or hands-on demonstrations. Your recruiter will provide you with more information if the role you’re being considered for requires assessments.
We regularly post new positions and remove roles that are no longer open. We also remove positions that have been filled. If you don’t see a job listed, that means we are no longer taking applications for that position at this time. Keep checking back for other opportunities.

Because we receive a high volume of applications, we’re not always able to provide individualized feedback to every candidate. Please know that every application is thoroughly and thoughtfully reviewed.
Your onboarding specialist will guide you through the next steps, including verification of qualifications, work authorization and required paperwork. This phase typically takes about 3 to 4 weeks and may include a background check and employee health assessment.
