To increase the fellows’ ability to understand the psycho-social effects of caring for a child with cancer and blood disorders on medical professionals in ways that will enhance their positive personal development over the course of their career.
To increase the fellows’ ability to understand psycho-social factors in ways that will enhance their ability to effectively lead health care teams and institutions.
To enhance the fellows’ general ability to reflect on and analyze complex situations, formulate working hypotheses about the situations, and take strategic action.
To improve the positive working relationships among participating fellows and other members of the department.
