Mills elected society VP (Baylor College of Medicine - July 2, 2021)
Dr. Joseph Mills was elected vice president of the Society for Vascular Surgery for 2021-22 at the society's annual business meeting, held virtually on June 16. Mills is professor and chief of the division of vascular surgery and endovascular therapy at Baylor College of Medicine.


Iacobas to serve on vascular anomalies committee (Baylor College of Medicine - June 18, 2021)
Dr. Ionela Iacobas, assistant professor of pediatric hematology oncology and medical director of the Texas Children's Hospital Vascular Anomalies Center, was invited to join the Scientific Committee of the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies. The committee, which consists of 10 international experts in the field, drives the organization's scientific initiatives and oversees the scientific program at ISSVA's World Congress.

Vascular Anomalies Center has seen over 1,000 patients since launch (Texas Children's Hospital - November 13, 2019)
The Vascular Anomalies Center at Texas Children’s Hospital, is a multidisciplinary team including 27 physicians from 12 different services, that has seen over 1,000 new patients since opening in May 2017! Patients travel from around the United States and several foreign countries to receive care from these medical and surgical specialties that work together to evaluate and provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art treatment to patients with vascular malformations and vascular tumors.
