The activities of volunteers are as diverse as our volunteers themselves. They deliver craft kits and art supplies to the patients, play games and read with the children. They may organize a puppet show or help kids finish their homework--whatever the activity, each volunteer helps to bring a sense of comfort to patients and families. There are two ways to volunteer at Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center: through our Periwinkle Arts In Medicine Program or through Texas Children's Hospital. Volunteers are a vital element in the activities at Texas Children's Hospital. Volunteers for Texas Children's Hospital range from age 15, to more than 90 years old.
