Periwinkle Arts in Medicine Program

Volunteer in the Periwinkle Arts In Medicine Program

Artists, musicians, and art lovers are encouraged to volunteer in the Periwinkle Arts in Medicine Program!

Artists and non-artists alike are welcome. We also welcome groups with an interest in performing or hosting a craft or art party. Whether you're a traditional artist, a performing arts enthusiast, a musician, or an art lover, we encourage you to contact us if you are interested in volunteering, performing, or scheduling an arts workshop at any of our locations.

Our volunteers have led music, origami, drawing, photography, bead making, fabric painting, magic, sculpture, jewelry making, printing and storytelling activities. Performances and hands-on workshops are a great form of entertainment and fun relief for families who are visiting our outpatient clinic or for a longer stay in our inpatient or bone marrow transplant unit. Artists and non-artists alike are welcome. Performance groups are welcome to perform in our clinic, and may inquire about opportunities by contacting us.

We offer many volunteer opportunities to fit the busy schedules of both professional artists and volunteers who enjoy art as a hobby. Scheduling is flexible, so let us know if you're interested in visiting for just a one-time performance or weekly visits to the clinic or inpatient units. We welcome artists of all mediums to inquire about volunteering!
