You may notice bleeding or discharge for a few days after your baby is born. This is caused by a decrease in the hormone levels your baby was receiving from the placenta during pregnancy.
White discharge
A white vaginal discharge is normal and is a result of hormones during pregnancy. Gently remove it with a moist cotton ball once or twice daily. It usually goes away by 3-4 weeks of age.
