Location Information

In 1961, Dr. Maurice Cohn felt the calling to create a practice in Austin where families could receive the highest standard of medical care round the clock. Soon after, Dr. Milton Talbot joined the practice, which had grown to occupy a little home on 15th Street.

In the 1970s, Capital Pediatric Group was formed as two more doctors, Dr. Thomas Hughes and Dr. Allan Frank, joined the call and a new home was found for the practice on West 39 ½ St., where CPG remains today.

Over the next 20 years, three more doctors have taken on CPG’'s mission, including Dr. Jayashree Mani, Dr. Sandra Treybig, Dr. Helen Ma.

We’re all doctors and teachers and students every day — working with each other, learning from each other, growing along side each other. And inspiring each other, with every visit, every patient, and every new diagnosis, to be the best pediatricians in the best pediatric practice in Austin.

It’s that kind of collaborative environment, that kind of dedication to our patients and to our own practice family, that makes Capital Pediatrics so unique and so special. And so valuable for you and your family. We're Independent. Physician-Owned. And Family-Focused.

It's our mission to put that same focus on meeting, growing, and learning to work for you. We dedicate ourselves to meeting the individual needs of every child and every family, to learning what makes each child special and what each family values, and to growing along with you as a trusted part of your family’s health and happiness.
