Meet the Newborn Center medical leaders

Taking care of extremely critically ill and premature infants in a NICU requires the highest level of expertise and compassion. When your baby is admitted to one of Texas Children’s NICUs, your baby has been admitted to an academic medical center hospital. This means that the healthcare professionals at Texas Children’s Hospital train other medical professionals, conduct biomedical research, and participate in setting the national standards of care.

This includes our physician and nursing leaders, who lead by exemplifying and teaching the highest excellence in management, patient care and safety standards, staff development, practice policies, and quality practice.
