Make the Difference for the Future

For 70 years, philanthropic support has made it possible for Texas Children’s to fulfill its mission of creating a healthier future for children and women by leading in patient care, education and research.

As we celebrate 70 successful years and chart the course ahead with the Make the Difference: The Campaign for Texas Children’s, we proudly introduce the Texas Children’s Legacy Challenge to ensure that our next 70 years are as impactful as the first.

With a goal of raising $5 million in new documented planned gift intentions, we are using a recently received $500,000 bequest to inspire others to establish a lasting legacy at Texas Children’s. When you make a legacy gift, Texas Children’s will allocate 10% of your gift’s value, up to $10,000, from the generous $500,000 bequest for immediate use. You will have the opportunity to direct these funds to the Make the Difference Campaign or to an area of your choosing.

If you’ve ever considered leaving a legacy at Texas Children’s through a planned gift, now is the time to act. If you have already included Texas Children’s in your plans, please notify us so we can ensure your gift qualifies for this special opportunity.

How to participate

1) Include Texas Children’s

Name Texas Children’s in your will, living trust or as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or financial account. (If you have previously included Texas Children’s in your plans but have not already notified us, your gift still qualifies!)

2) Document your intent

Contact us to formally document your gift intention with Texas Children's. You may also complete and download and complete the Legacy Challenge Form (pdf), and email it to Rachel Kronenberger, Assistant Director at rskronen@texaschildrens.org.

3) Unlock challenge funds

Texas Children’s will allocate 10% of your gift's value, up to $10,000, to either the Make the Difference Campaign or an area or program of your choice (while challenge funds are still available).
