Ways to Give Community Fundraising

Community Fundraising

Get Involved Your Way

You can help children in our community in a variety of ways.

Every day, people in our community host fundraisers that support Texas Children’s mission to care for every child, regardless of the family’s ability to pay. Learn how to host and promote your own event, launch a custom giving page, donate needed items or give your time.

Please review our Community Fundraising Guidelines (pdf). This guide serves as a resource to help you achieve your goals, avoid potential conflicts, and uphold the policies of Texas Children’s Hospital.

Our Community Fundraising Team helps ensure the success of your fundraiser by:

 • Consulting with you on fundraising and event plans
 • Approving your use of Texas Children’s Hospital name and logo, when appropriate
 • Providing a shareable PDF so you can inform your supporters about the impact their gifts make
 • Providing a letter of authorization to validate the authenticity of the fundraiser
 • Providing a limited number of Texas Children’s branded giveaways (if in stock)

We appreciate your gifts of time and talent to help advance our mission. Unfortunately, with limited staff and resources, we cannot provide support for all fundraising activities. We cannot provide the following:

Facebook fundraisers are discouraged. Instead, we urge you to establish a fundraising page and share it on social media. This ensures that all donations made through your page go directly to your fundraiser and that people who support your fundraiser will receive an email from Texas Children’s acknowledging their gift. We are unable to acknowledge receipt of donations made through third-party web pages.

Texas Children’s representatives may be available for your event, but we cannot guarantee this. Please make your request at least 30 days prior to the event.
