Running for Texas Children’s makes the Chevron Houston Marathon, Aramco Half Marathon or the We Are Houston 5k about more than your race time. When you Run for a Reason, every step you take helps make a life-changing difference for children, women and families.

Commit to raising at least $500 for Texas Children’s Hospital when you run the Chevron Houston Marathon, Aramco Houston Half Marathon or We Are Houston 5K, and Texas Children’s will pay your registration fee.

Every HERO is guaranteed a place when they make a one-time tax-deductible donation of at least $350 plus the cost of registration to any official Run for a Reason charity. Texas Children’s has a limited number of HERO entries available on a first-come, first-served basis. HERO runners receive additional benefits. Learn more
