Personal Statement
I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for children with infectious diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Texas Children’s Hospital. I have a special interest in caring for immunocompromised patients, including those who have received solid organ or hematopoietic stem cell transplants. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as the associate program director for the pediatric infectious diseases fellowship and lead the transplant infectious diseases curriculum. My research focuses on improving the prevention and treatment of infections in pediatric transplant recipients to enhance their outcomes and quality of life.
