Farah Alnoor Ladha, MS, CGC

Personal Statement

Farah Ladha, MS, CGC is a Genetic Counselor in the Pediatric Genetics Outpatient Clinic, the Cystic Fibrosis Center, and the Genetic Disorders of Obesity Program at Texas Children’s Hospital. Her role involves clinical evaluations, coordination of genetic testing, and disclosure of results. She strives to provide supportive psychosocial counseling to families during these encounters, including appropriate pre- and post-test counseling.

Research Interests

Her research interests include identifying genotype-phenotype associations and evaluating the parental perception of various topics in genetics. She is involved in several community outreach initiatives focused on increasing access to genetic services to underserved populations and providing education and emotional support to families going through the pediatric-to-adult health care transition process.
