Dr. Kazmerski is a licensed psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst- Doctoral and Diplomate in Behavioral Sleep Medicine who specializes in pediatric behavioral sleep medicine. She provides evidence-based therapy services to children and their families for a range of sleep concerns and sleep disorders including behavioral insomnia, primary insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, narcolepsy, nocturnal enuresis, obstructive sleep apnea and parasomnias. Dr. Kazmerski sees all children but is particularly passionate about providing services to children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and complex medical needs who are frequently referred to the Children’s Sleep Center. A primary focus of her clinical work is to help patients and their families successfully complete a sleep study or polysomnogram (PSG), as well as improve their adherence to Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) therapy with the use of behavioral techniques, such as systematic desensitization. Dr. Kazmerski uses a behavioral approach to patient care which includes the patient’s family as active participants in the treatment.
