Physical and Occupational Therapy

For Health Professionals

We look forward to working with you for your observation hours in either physical or occupational therapy.

General Information:

• You must be at least 18 years of age
• Maximum of 20 hours/within 30 CONSECUTIVE days are allowed*
• Observations hours are M - F 8 – 5 in our OUTPATIENT locations only.  You can only choose 1 clinical site.
• Please read: Observation Expectations 

* If you need more than 20 hours, please contact Volunteer Services at 832-824-2263 regarding volunteer opportunities (six-month commitment is required).

Please submit a completed TCH Observer Intake Packet to: therapyobservation@texaschildrens.org

Allow EIGHT WEEKS (8 weeks) for the paperwork to be processed. Incomplete applications WILL NOT be processed.  If you do not hear from us, your application is incomplete.  Inquiries can be sent to therapyobservation@texaschildrens.org.

The Observer Coordinator will then email you to schedule the observation.
