Educational Videos

To help children with heart problems better understand their diagnosis and potential treatment options, Texas Children’s Heart Center has developed a series of animated videos geared toward kids. These one-of-a-kind animations cover a wide range of conditions and procedures related to childhood heart disease and are a resource for families to learn about complicated heart conditions.

Featuring Ruby, a friendly armadillo, Beau, a kind bison, and their friends, the Blings, the videos take the viewer through the diagnosis and treatment plan for a variety of complex heart conditions.

The videos were created by a team led by Daniel J. Penny, MD, through a generous grant from ExxonMobil.
