Dr. Casey McAtee has been invited to serve on the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP)'s Programme for Advancing the Research Capacity (PARC) Scientific Committee. PARC aims to bolster evidence-based pediatric oncology clinical research in low- and middle-income countries to improve the care and cure of children with cancer.
Dr. McAtee has also been invited to join the editorial board of the Journal of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, which reports on major advances in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and blood diseases in children.
Dr. McAtee is an Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hematology-Oncology. He is based in Lilongwe, Malawi where he contributes to Global Hematology Oncology Pediatric Excellence (HOPE), a capacity-building partnership between Texas Children’s Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine, and healthcare institutions throughout sub-Saharan Africa.
