Martinez elected to board of Cord Blood Association

Dr. Caridad "Cary" Martinez, associate professor of pediatrics – hematology and oncology and medical director of the Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center, was recently elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Cord Blood Association. The international, non-profit organization promotes both public and family cord blood banking with the objectives of saving lives, improving health and changing medicine.
