An instant classic

The Texas Children’s Legacy Golf Classic kicks off its first-ever tournament at the historic Lions Municipal Golf Course this spring. The tournament will help bring new life to the Child Life Department at Texas Children’s Hospital North Austin.

Texas Children’s and Lions Municipal Golf Course know a thing or two about legacies. Lions recently celebrated its 100th year serving and improving the Austin community. And while Texas Children’s is new to Austin, our 70 years of life-saving care has touched young lives across Texas. Every dollar raised through the Texas Children’s Legacy Golf Classic supports Child Life, a specialized program that uses art, dance, music, and play to explain procedures, reduce anxiety, distract from pain, and help patients pass the time.
