Personal Statement
As a genetic counselor, I am dedicated to providing best patient care that includes information and education to patients so that they can understand their genetic risks, navigate their genetic testing options, and make the best decisions for their family. My goal is to help families navigate the process in a way that respects their values, beliefs, and goals, and to help them advocate for the care and resources they need on the journey. I do this as part of the multidisciplinary care team at the Texas Children’s Maternal-Fetal Medicine Services.
