Get to know Staci Grant, PsyD
Dr. Grant is a pediatric psychologist at Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus who works primarily with youth and families affected by acute and chronic medical conditions. Taking a flexible treatment approach to meet each patient’s individual needs, she utilizes evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapies and parent management training. Overall, Dr. Grant helps patients adjust to their medical diagnosis, learn coping strategies, improve adherence to medication and enhance communication within families.
Personal Statement
As a pediatric provider, I am passionate about my work with children, adolescents and their families. I value building rapport and enjoy collaborating with patients in setting and achieving their goals, as well as providing patients and their families with sufficient support to cope with new and existing medical conditions and to improve their quality of life. I recognize the importance of implementing evidence-based practices, and I promote the use of creativity and activities to adapt and enhance treatment as necessary.
