Personal Statement
The primary focus of my clinical practice includes non-invasive imaging including transthoracic, transesophageal and 3D echocardiography as well as cardiac MRI. In addition, I provide inpatient and outpatient care to patients with acquired and congenital heart disease. I have a special interest in patients with anomalous coronary arteries from a clinical and research perspective. My other research interests involve tissue characterization (using cardiac MRI) and functional analysis including deformation analysis (using 3D echocardiography and cardiac MRI) in a variety of acquired and congenital heart lesions, especially the single ventricle population, as well as patients with cardiomyopathies, cardiac tumors and post heart transplant.
