Program overview

Texas Children’s Cardiac Imaging Program provides noninvasive imaging support to the cardiologists at the Heart Center. Our technicians have significant experience in helping to diagnose pediatric cardiac conditions by supplying accurate images of both common and subtle signs of heart disease. In addition to providing imaging support to our clinics, we also provide support during procedures, such as cardiac catheterization and heart surgery.

The attention to detail in the main noninvasive cardiac imaging lab reflects our dedication to excellence. With 10 patient rooms in addition to our sedation bays and physician reading rooms, we’re equipped to perform tens of thousands of echocardiograms and hundreds of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans every year.
