Personal Statement
Dr. Ryan J. Cody, DDS, MSD, is a craniofacial orthodontist on the cleft and craniofacial team at Texas Children's Hospital. Dr. Cody received his dental training at University of North Carolina’s School of Dentistry and his orthodontic training at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He completed his craniofacial orthodontic fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital in 2023.
As a member of the cleft and craniofacial team, Dr. Cody helps treat patients born with a variety of facial differences, including cleft lip and palate, hemifacial microsomia, Crouzon syndrome, Pierre Robin syndrome and a variety of other abnormalities. In conjunction with the other specialists, Dr. Cody can manage the orthodontic needs of patients from birth until adulthood.
“I am committed to helping patients born with craniofacial conditions in Houston and around the world,” he says. “I believe in comprehensive, multidisciplinary and sustainable craniofacial care.”
In his free time, Dr. Cody enjoys playing jazz piano, baseball, skiing and traveling throughout Latin America.
