From Dr. Tabarrok:
I love taking care of children in the Emergency Center. Parents are often scared, frustrated, concerned, worried and usually somewhere in between. To be an advocate for the child while helping families navigate what is often an overwhelming situation is one of the most important things we do. It is vital to me to be there for each family to the best of my ability, whether it be giving reassurance to a worried family member or being a comforting presence for a family in the worst moment of their life. At the end of the day, we are all there for the same reason which is to help the children and families that have chosen us for their medical care.
