Kari Johnston is a Certified Genetic Counselor who provides comprehensive care to patients and families in the general genetics outpatient clinic, primarily in Texas Children’s The Woodlands. She also sees patients as a part of the multidisciplinary Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic and the Craniofacial Clinic in the Texas Medical Center. In her role, Kari conducts detailed clinical evaluations, coordinates and selects appropriate genetic testing, and facilitates the disclosure and interpretation of genetic test results. She is dedicated to supporting patients and their families through the diagnostic process and helping them understand the genetic factors that contribute to their health.
