Caroline is a physician assistant in the Department of Surgery. As part of a team of advanced practice providers, Caroline works with a variety of surgical services including general surgery, plastic surgery, orthopedic surgery, otolaryngology, urology and wound care. Her responsibilities include inpatient care management, emergency room and inpatient surgical consults, performing independent minor procedures, and acting as first assist in the operating room. Caroline incorporates her background in nutrition to provide patient education and holistic care that maximizes long-term health.
Personal Statement
I am deeply passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based care that is individualized to each patient’s unique needs, background, and goals. While serving as a source of empathy and encouragement, I seek to actively listen to and educate my patients and their families, thus empowering them to play an active role in their medical care.
