Get to know Andrew A. Wahba, MD
Dr. Andrew Wahba began his pediatric hematology-oncology fellowship training in 2022. He is a clinical fellow in the Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine / Texas Children’s Hospital. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Wahba worked as a research assistant in the Kleinerman laboratory at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center before completing his pediatric residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. His research focused on identifying novel therapeutic agents aimed at improving the outcome for children with bone and brain tumors.
He has presented his work at national conferences and has several publications and co-authorships.
He remains dedicated to a career as a physician-scientist focused on developing novel immunotherapies for children with cancer. He is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
