About

My patient care philosophy focuses on a personalized “patient-and family-centered” approach. My goal is not just to provide medical management but to also empower my patients and their parents with the education required to incorporate themselves in the decision making and healing process. As a community pediatric gastroenterologist, I greatly value the opportunity to leverage my personal and institutional resources to build healthcare partnerships with my patient’s families, their primary care providers and the community as a whole.

Clinical and Research Interests:
Dr. Raj cares for children with a wide array of acute and chronic gastrointestinal issues such as cow’s milk protein allergy, failure to thrive, constipation, celiac disease and inflammatory bowel disease. However, she has a special interest in upper gastrointestinal disorders like gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), H. pylori gastritis and Eosinophilic Esophagitis. As a member of the multi-disciplinary Aerodigestive Program team at TCH, she helps provide comprehensive and individualized care for children with complex airway and gastrointestinal disorders.

Dr. Raj is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and the American Board of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition.
