The Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition service at Texas Children's Hospital brings multiple specialists together to treat children with various gastrointestinal diseases and nutrition problems across the country. Our mission is to strive for outstanding and compassionate patient care through evidence-based and expert practice achieved though research and education.
Each year, more than 20,000 children visit our service, one of the largest programs of its type in the United States. We provide state of the art treatment of children with a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal, pancreatic, hepatic and nutritional disorders.
Our physicians and advanced practice providers not only treat patients at Texas Children’s Hospital, they are also faculty members at Baylor College of Medicine. This affiliation allows our physicians to be involved in teaching medical students and performing pediatric clinical research. For parents, this means you can be guaranteed our physicians are in the know and can teach you about the most up-to-date pediatric treatment for your child.
