Get to know Louis D. Le, MD
Personal Statement
Dr. Le is a board certified surgeon experienced in caring for pediatric patients of all ages (neonates through adolescents), with interest in advanced minimally invasive techniques. He has specialized expertise in the treatment of pediatric trauma patients, as well as the management of complex patients requiring extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
Dr. Le earned his medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans and went on to complete a general surgery residency at LSUHSC School of Medicine. He went on to pursue fellowships in Pediatric Trauma and Pediatric ECMO at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He then moved to Portland, OR to complete a Pediatric Surgery Fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University and is delighted to join the faculty at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Research Interests:
Dr. Le has a research background in fetal wound healing. His current research interests include quality of care for all patient by improving systems.
