About
Dr. Ramirez enjoys caring for children of all ages with varied rheumatic illnesses including: SLE, JIA, Scleroderma, Juvenile Dermatomyositis, Kawasaki Disease, and other inflammatory rheumatic diseases. Dr Ramirez' vision is centered on providing individualized care using evidence based medicine. She works closely with colleagues from other disclipines of medicine to ensure continuity for care of medically complex patients. Her passion is educating patients and families about their conditions so they feel empowered. Dr. Ramirez is also functions as the associate fellowship director for pediatric rheumatology at Baylor College of Medicine. She is delighted to be able to train future pediatric rheumatologists.
