Leica SP8 Confocal with White Light Laser, STED
Laser light of specific wavelengths is scanned across the sample and filtered before detection to produce a high-resolution image composed of a small optical slice of the sample with tunable excitation source for hand picking excitation wavelengths of up to 8 simultaneously (470nm-670nm). STED enhances resolution to less than 50nm in XY by depleting fluorescence into a small spot with a depletion laser. LIGHTNING deconvolution further enhances resolution, including STED images.
Leica SP8 Confocal 1 and 2
Laser light of specific wavelengths is scanned across the sample and filtered before detection to produce a high-resolution image composed of a small optical slice of the sample with acquisition of up to 4 or 5 color channels simultaneously. LIGHTNING deconvolution further enhances resolution.
Leica Mica
Mica is an integrated microscopy solution for widefield fluorescence, point scanning confocal and transmitted light imaging of fixed and living samples. The extensive automation combined with an intuitive user interface allows for easy handling of the high-performance system. Mica is equipped with 4 LEDs and 4 lasers, as well as the FluoSync detector units for widefield and confocal microscopy. This allows the handling of samples with up to 4 labels with a wide excitation and detection spectrum. The entire encapsulated inner sample space can be climate controlled (temperature, CO₂ and humidity regulation) and offers ideal conditions for live cell observation.
Leica SP8 two-photon DIVE
Leica DIVE (Deep In Vivo Explorer) with Spectra Physics Insight 3x tunable laser (680-1300nm) is used for multiphoton imaging of thick in-vivo and in-vitro samples with long working distance objectives optimized for multiphoton.
