One of the most active pediatric transplant programs in the nation, Texas Children’s Hospital Transplant Center provides complex, multifaceted medical and surgical care for newborns to young adults in need of heart, kidney, liver and lung transplants. Our Uterus Transplant Research Program also provides hope for women with absolute uterine factor infertility (AUFI).

We offer a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team approach through all aspects of the transplant process, from initial referral to hospitalization and follow-up after surgery. Our pediatric transplant team works closely with your family and referring doctors to help make the evaluation process as convenient and efficient as possible.

The pediatric transplant landscape is complex and highly regulated. Our Transplant Center is a member of the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) and is fully accredited by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
