Radiology Second Opinion

Collaborating with you and your doctor

Texas Children’s Hospital welcomes the opportunity to provide second opinions and collaborate with you or your health care providers about your care. All second opinion cases are reviewed by a board-certified pediatric radiologist.

We have routine meetings with experts from across the hospital, including oncology, pathology, surgery and more. We call these multidisciplinary conferences. If needed, after second opinion interpretation, we have an ancillary team who can efficiently guide referral and treatment of your child’s condition by world-class leaders in their field, whether it’s a sports medicine injury or a rare form of cancer.

Insurance companies will usually pay for second opinions, but please verify with the insurance carrier.
