The Division of Genomic Medicine (GMD) provides comprehensive testing for cancer diagnosis and treatment, inherited genetic conditions, as well as tissue-based testing for disorders of somatic mosaicism.
Test services include genome wide analyses such as cytogenetics and chromosomal microarray analysis to targeted genomic panels, single gene or targeted hotspot testing and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH).
Clinical applications include testing for constitutional disorders and cancers.
Cancer Diagnostics
The Division offers comprehensive cytogenetic, genomic and molecular testing for patients with solid tumors, central nervous system tumors, hematologic malignancies, and cancer predisposition syndromes. Testing services cover diagnostic, prognostic, therapeutic indications, as well as select tests for minimal residual disease monitoring and disorders of somatic mosaicism.
Test platforms include next generation sequencing, chromosomal SNP microarray, karyotyping, FISH, and targeted/single-gene testing.
Constitutional Genomics
The Division offers comprehensive genetic and genomic diagnostic testing services for different inherited disorders. Test platforms include chromosomal SNP microarrays, next generation sequencing genomic panels, single target molecular genetics and pharmacogenetic testing.
