When your baby is born, we at Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women want you to have all the tools you need to create a strong foundation for successful breastfeeding and bonding with your new baby. Our philosophy of family-centered maternity care directly supports breastfeeding and bonding. After you and your newborn have left the hospital, the Baby Bistro is an outpatient clinic available to support you throughout your breastfeeding experience.

That’s why we offer you support services through Baby Bistro in the Pavilion for Women and Lactation and Breastfeeding Support at Texas Children’s Hospital. Although studies show that exclusive breastfeeding for at least four months provides the greatest benefit, any amount of time that you can breastfeed will help you and your baby.
