Child Life Zone
Opening in 2001, the Child Life Zone is located on the 16th floor within the West Tower of the Medical Center campus. Generously funded by the Teammates for Kids Foundation, The Zone is a unique space, within Texas Children’s Hospital, where patients and families can gather together to hang out, play games, create art, make new friends and find a bit of respite from hospital routines.
Play is critical to a child’s healing process and the Child Life Zone provides the opportunity for “kids to be kids” and laughter to be the best medicine. Please check the event schedule outside of The Zone for hours of operation.

Who can use The Child Life Zone?
All patients and siblings who are age 6 and above, that are admitted to the hospital and are not on isolation. Families are always welcome too!
All visitors will be screened for health and safety precautions.
