Rouce named to oncology board (and performs a rap!)

Dr. Rayne Rouce, associate professor of pediatrics – hematology and oncology, has been named to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Board of Directors. Rouce is a pediatric hematologist / oncologist and physician scientist at Texas Children’s Cancer Center. Read the full announcement here. Rouce, who also is with the Office of Community Engagement and Health Equity, also was the keynote speaker at the HOSA – Future Health Professionals international leadership conference at the George R. Brown Convention Center last week. She gave a talk and performed an original rap for the students in attendance, which included students from Baylor’s Saturday Morning Science Program that she leads.
