Rouce and team secures a grant to form BCM/TSU CURED, a collaborative cancer research initiative with Texas Southern University
Awards

Dr. Rayne Rouce, associate professor of pediatrics – hematology and oncology, and a team of Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center researchers were awarded a P20 grant from the National Cancer Institute to partner with Texas Southern University, a historically Black college and university, to create the BCM/TSU Collaborative Union for Cancer Research, Education and Disparities (CURED). This collaboration includes a cancer research education program, a community outreach and engagement core, an administrative core and collaborative pilot projects.
