Practice Update

Effective September 27th, Dr. Emily Ayub will resign from Texas Children’s Pediatrics Westchase. We know that our families greatly value their relationship with their child’s pediatrician and we are here to help you establish care with another Texas Children’s Pediatrics pediatrician. All of our care providers at Texas Children's Pediatrics Westchase will continue to be available to help care for your child. Your child's medical records will continue to be conveniently available throughout the Texas Children's network, and you can be confident that our entire team will be dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition during this period.

  • Adolescent care
  • Treatment of acute and chronic illnesses
  • Routine lab work and screening
  • Developmental, hearing and vision screenings
  • Camp; school and sports physicals
  • Minor emergency care and treatment
  • Same-day appointments for ill patients
  • Ear piercing
  • 24-hour emergency call service
  • Separate exam waiting areas for well and ill patients
  • Asthma care, including lung-function testing

The doctors at Texas Children's Pediatrics Westchase are certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and are specially trained in the healthcare needs of pediatric patients. Our physicians and staff are bilingual.

Billing and Insurance

Billing Information

Payment for medical services can be made by credit card and is due at the time of service. It is the parent or guardian’s responsibility to pay any deductible, co-pay or co-insurance required by the insurance provider. As a courtesy, our office will file claims with any of our Texas Children’s Pedatrics-contracted insurance plans. Please bring your insurance card to every visit. Prescriptions

Prescription information

Written or electronic prescriptions will be given after a patient has been seen by a physician or nurse practitioner.

Prescription refills

For routine prescription refills, please contact your pharmacy. If your child has no refills available, please contact your child’s Texas Children’s Pediatrics practice.
