About the Facility Dog Summit
The 2025 Facility Dog Summit gathers facility dog program leaders, handlers, and those looking to start a program for networking and learning opportunities. This event highlights the incredible impact of facility dog programs across the country. Facility dogs are highly trained to work alongside handlers in healthcare settings, schools, and courthouses, offering essential support and comfort to patients and their families. These dedicated dog-and-handler teams play a vital role in enhancing outcomes and reducing anxiety in healthcare and beyond.
We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing your facility dogs to the conference hosted by Texas Children’s Hospital. While we are excited to celebrate and learn from the incredible work of facility dogs, we encourage you to bring creative alternatives, such as images of your dogs, stickers, business cards, or other materials that showcase their impact. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you and your creative contributions at the event!
