Get to know Wineth Mojares de Carlos, CPNP-AC
Wineth is an advanced practice provider in the Interventional Radiology Department. She comes to the profession with 19 years of nursing experience having spent 10 of those years specifically in Interventional Radiology, where she provides comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of each patient, particularly children with complex medical conditions. She is proficient in delivering high-quality care through every stage of the patient’s journey, from pre-procedural preparation to post-procedural recovery. Additionally, she is skilled at performing basic IR procedures such as enteral feeding tube placement and exchange, peripherally inserted central venous catheters, and image-guided lumbar punctures.
She continues to serve as the IR West Campus Community Advance Practice Provider, coordinating and executing the highest standards of safe and efficient patient care for children in the outpatient and inpatient clinical settings, requiring elective and emergent IR procedures.

I am passionate about pediatric health care and committed to expanding access to specialized interventional radiology services for children. I advocate for improved resources and streamlined processes that enhance care and create better experiences for patients and their families. My clinical practice is grounded in compassionate care, clear communication and seamless coordination of interventional radiology services. I strive to support families of children with complex medical needs by providing guidance, empathy and reassurance throughout their care journey. I am dedicated to advancing Texas Children's mission of delivering safe, high-quality pediatric care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of the patients and families I serve.
