Dr. Afshan specializes in assessment and treatment of allergic and immunologic conditions, including food allergy, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, asthma, insect allergy, drug allergy, urticaria, and immunodeficiency. She strives for clear and open communication with patients and families, their primary care providers, and other specialists that are a part of their medical team. She greatly enjoys working closely with patients and families on food introduction and allergy prevention, skin care, and a variety of other interventions that can have significant and meaningful impacts on everyday life.
Personal Statement
I aim to work with patients and families to provide cost-effective, evidence-based medical care through shared decision making and collaboration. I am committed to being a reliable resource for medical information and education that patients and families can turn to when they have questions or concerns. My goal for all my patients is that they be able to safely do everything they want in life despite their allergic or immunologic conditions.
