Get to know Timothy A. Spence, MD
Dr. Spence is a pediatrician with more than 20 years of experience specializing in the care of children from birth to adulthood. After completing his pediatric training, he served in the US Air Force as a clinic pediatrician. Following his active duty service, he then transitioned to pediatric hospitalist medicine focusing on care for acutely ill and medically complex children in the hospital. During this time, he served as a teaching attending for several residency training programs. In addition, he has led and/or participated in various international medical missions. Dr. Spence ultimately returned to the pediatric clinic, as he enjoys getting to know his patients, watching them grow and trying his best to help them along the way. He has been practicing medicine in the Austin area since 2012.

I strive to provide current, evidence-based quality medical care. I believe that parents, their children and the pediatrician should be a partnership that values collaboration, respect and healthy outcomes.
