Dr. Taylor Luckie began her pediatric hematology-oncology fellowship training in 2022.
Dr. Luckie's interest in the field of pediatric hematology/oncology first began when her childhood friend underwent pediatric cancer treatment. Her interest in improving the treatment and care for children with cancer and blood disorders was reinforced throughout her research experiences and clinical training.
Dr. Luckie obtained a bachelor of science in genetics and a bachelor of science in biochemistry. She completed medical school and a specialized genomics pathway at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by her pediatric residency training at Baylor College of Medicine / Texas Children's Hospital. She has participated in both laboratory-based and clinical research within the fields genetics, biochemistry, solid tumors, and leukemias.
Dr. Luckie is excited to continue her fellowship training in pediatric hematology/oncology at Texas Children's Hospital and is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care while pursuing research as a physician-scientist to improve care for children with cancer and blood disorders.
