Highlights
Research Area:
Developmental therapeutics
Dr. Stacey Berg’s primary research interest is in the design and conduct of early phase clinical trials of new anticancer agents. This process includes the evaluation of new agents against pediatric cancer targets in the laboratory, as well as preclinical pharmacokinetic studies. With these data, phase 1 studies are designed to determine the appropriate dose and schedule of new agents for use in children, as well as to obtain preliminary indications of activity. These results form the basis of subsequent larger scale clinical trials.
