Personal Statement
Shiley Aguilar is a Family Nurse Practitioner for Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center. She has extensive experience in bone tumors and was a member of the Bone Tumor Program at Texas Children's Hospital for many years.
Her passion for long-term survivorship has led her to become a part of the Long-Term Survivor Program at Texas Children's Hospital West Campus and a member of the Texas Children's Hospital West Campus Hematology and Oncology provider team.
She now also dedicates a majority of her time to the Clinical Research Office where she assists with development of hematology, oncology and BMT treatment plans in the Epic Systems’ medical oncology module, Beacon.
Her clinical interests include: long-term survivorship, late effects, solid tumors, rare tumors, bone tumors, leukemia, adolescent and young adult long-term survivorship care.
She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
