Personal Statement

Through a patient-centered approach, I strive to support patients as they navigate the medical, technical and emotional implications of prenatal genetic diagnoses and birth defects. As a part of the multidisciplinary care team at Texas Children’s Fetal Center, my goal is to cultivate an environment where patients and their families feel both informed and empowered to make challenging decisions throughout their reproductive journeys.

Clinical Interests: prenatal and preconception genetic counseling, perinatal grief and bereavement counseling, complex fetal anomalies, medical ethics

Research Interests: prenatal genetic testing, genetic counseling for life-limiting fetal anomalies
